Best Time to Visit Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort

Aphrodite Hills Resort Villas

With year round fine weather, golfing season at the Aphrodite Hills golf resort continues long after it’s finished at most other popular European destinations. In fact many people choose to golf in Cyprus year long.

If you are planning a golfing holiday to the award winning golf course of Aphrodite Hills, you might be wondering when the best time to go is?

Probably the best times to go are April-May and September-October.  It’s still warm but not too hot, and certainly less busy.  Average high temperatures for the area in April are 21°c (69.8f) and 24°c (75.2f) in May.  Towards the end of June leading into July and August temperatures average around 30°c and can soar to 35.  The humidity can also be high in July and August ranging from 70%-86%.

This doesn’t deter everyone however, and the summer months are always the busiest. The Aphrodite Hills resort is pretty large so hiring a buggy is definitely recommended in the height of summer.

If the heat and crowds don’t bother you then July and August are excellent times to enjoy Aphrodite Hills in all its glory, as well as the panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

If you are thinking about a Cyprus golf holiday in December or January, it will certainly be warmer than most of the rest of Europe but perfect weather is not guaranteed.  You can expect an average temperature of 15°c (58°F), typically there are 10-14 days of rainfall in December and January.  Of course the off season will always be cheaper which is an appeal for many people.

The Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort is open all year and is well staffed no matter what month you choose to visit.  You can continue to book the Aphrodite Hills hotel, holiday residences and many private villas throughout the year. Villa Eleaina is available to stay 12 months of the year from January to December.
