Children are kept busy with the many indoor and outdoor activities at the Aphrodite Hills Resort including tennis, archery, football coaching, arts and crafts and pottery making. Youngsters interested in learning golf can visit the golf academy which also caters for children.

Children can also visit the horse riding and pony club where they can learn to ride a horse from any age or ability, and/or riding and caring for pony’s.

Away from the centre of the resort families can enjoy scenic cycle routes ranging from casual flat routes to challenging off-road terrain.

The Golf

Of course the main reason most people visit the Aphrodite Hills Resort is the golf, and it doesn’t disappoint.  The 18 hole course is visited year-long thanks to the excellent weather Cyprus enjoys.  Guests can expect spectacular views of the Mediterranean all the while surrounded by tranquil lakes and indigenous olive groves.

It’s not just about the breath-taking views either; the course features a unique challenge of hole 7 where a dramatic ravine separates the course.  Aphrodite Hills is an excellent course in its own right, attaining the Cyprus PGA national in 2018.  The course has also received high critical acclaim from the IAGTO who named it 2018 European golf resort of the year.

Golf enthusiasts can hone their skills in the excellent 3-hole golf academy, staffed by four PGA approved golf pros.  The academy also features a large double-ended driving range and well stocked pro golf shop.
